Proste nam vybrali veci z kufra a
odisli.
We arrived at the bus station before 6 and were waiting for our bus. After while a lady from our bus company came to us and let us know that driver is ill /our version - still having hangover, not enough customers/ and therefore we had to use different company. Fortunately she help us to sort out our new ticket and helped us to find our bus, so we didnt mind. One of the specific things about South America is that you have to pay a fee
for using a bus terminal. It is usualy a small amount, but for us it seems like some sort of blackmailing - have you got a ticket? great, but to get to you bus you have to pay! So we paid and set off. Final destination was bus was Santa Cruz, but we wanted to get off at Buena Vista, so we repeatedly asked us driver not to forget. Few hours and pile of chewed coca leaves later our bus stopped next to couple of houses and we were told that this was Buena Vista. It was all very suspicious, so we asked locals and they confirmed our worries. We passed Buena Vista quite a while ago. The driver or conductor didnt even try to pretend to be sorry or try to help us to get back. They just took our staff out and left. There was nothing else to do except to cross the road and start to hitchhike. We were incredibly lucky /but we deserved it/ because 5 minutes later a car stopped /an Italian, locals just ignored us/ and took us for free directly to the main square of Buena Vista. Is was about 50km and we
had to sit outside on deck, but it was warm and were happy to have it sort it. Accomodation wasnt a problem, our room doesnt have a key, but apparently its fine. Town look really sleepy, everyones just sitting in a shade and staring. We would like to go the jungle, but we need a guide and so far it seems no one is interested and there are no guides here.
