Looks like a rabbit come small kangaroo - It was so hard to actually photograph as they were really shy
Today was a full day with lots of things to see. The first stop was the Leguna Colorada. This was a red lagoon where hundreds of flamingos made their home. This lagoon was really spectacular as it changed colour depending on the position of the sun. We were lucky to see it very red.

Our next point of call was the geysers. We found these absolutely fascinating! Apart from the putrid smell of rotten egg due to the masses of sulfur produced. These were in the middle of nowhere but you could spot them from a distance. Clouds of steam shot up in the air and as you edged closer the surface appeared more like the craters on the moon. Inside each crater was bubbly grayish liquid that spat up at you.

After the geysers we had a very welcome bath in the hot springs. The temperature was perfect and it was so relaxing. These were definitely the most beautiful hot springs we had seen and in the most amazing natural setting. We even had a friendly flamingo searching for food right next to us.

Our final attraction was the Leguna Verde. This was the most beautiful lagoon of brilliant green. We didn’t see it at the best time for it to show off its colour. In the morning it is a deeper shade of green than in our photo.

Dom right in the middle After Dom had scrambled about in the middle of these boiling sulphurus craters, our guide told us about someone who fell in and was cooked alive - Had I known that before hand I don't think I would have been so blasé
