Potosi is famost for two things, it is the highest located city in the world (if we thing about cities over 100.000 inhibitants) and for its mines which made it hundreds years ago to one of the richest cities in South America and brought many Europeans to build this nice, colonial city around the silver hill. Today, the people still live from remaining reserves of minerals in the hill (more than 10.000 people are still working in the mines) and the second import income of money is the tourism which attracts thousands of people every day to see the mines and amazing mountains around.
