Woke up after sleeping a good 11 hours and was feeling amazing like I was in my prime which I might actually be if I was still working out. I knew that there was a party tonight and was all excited because I was no longer taking amoebas pills and was feeling brand new. I knew no one else was awake yet so decided after breakfast and lunch to read "Marching Powder". What a great read. I read and slept literally all morning and afternoon and after a while decided to head down to the park and read some. I had texted Kevin wondering what time the party was and he responded something hours later like 9pm and that he was at the school. I immediately threw my book down after returning from the park to ... read more

WEll the weekend came around like it always does and I recall even thinking to myself "I hope this ends well". T.I.B. is our new joke we have when ever something crazy happens or you fall on a rock or something you just gotta be like well "This is BOLIVIa". WEll I had asked Kevin to meet me at school when we were out at 1130am so we could trade some music and maybe since he had 2 USB drives he would let me use one. Getting out of school Kitty caught me in the hallway when class was over and said she wanted to talk to me right away. I told kevin to wait for me in the student center then told him there was pizza outside. THeres an little old lady that apparently stops ... read more

With his appearance on this week's cover of Sports Illustrated, Tom Brady(notes) moves into a tie with Joe Montana as the football player with the most appearances on the front of the venerable sports magazine. The quarterbacks have both appeared on SI's cover 12 times (not including commemorative issues), more than any other NFL player. David Carr(notes), meanwhile, is still stuck at one. It makes sense that Montana and Brady are tied at the top: They've won multiple Super Bowl MVP awards, played the glamour position for the best teams in the sport and have recognizable faces that sell magazines. That the most NFL appearances is 12 is a bit jarring seeing as how Michael Jordan was on the cover 56 times (Muhammad Ali and Tiger Woods are the next most frequent cover subjects with 38 ... read more

Slept through my first class because my stomache started making weird noises I hadnt heard before and I must have used the bathroom like 6 times. After breakfast I made my way to the school and was greeted by john in our classroom just before 2nd period out of 4. SChool went miserably for me and I was now convinced that I had something and was going to go to the shit doctor to figure it out. John was expert at this and I forced him to go with me after school. He didnt want to go but I did not want to go to the pharmacy by myself and the clinic by myself. During my last class I had to excuse myself to expell some waste. Stomache was not well and after class on the ... read more

Its Tuesday Day of Cochabamba and I was not feeling well at all this morning. I wanted to partake in some celebration but sleeping sounded more appealing. I ate some and slept till like 1pm. Alex called me and asked If I wanted to go with her to the Prado and I really did and she also wanted to drink and I told her the situation of my stomache and replied maybe later on in the night well throw back some drinks. She said she would call me back so I waited and slept some. I slept till like 230pm and then texted kevin seeing if he wanted to go to the prado. MY mom was suprised to hear the fact that I was leaving because I had recieved a text from kevin saying to meet ... read more

Lets see, so I read a book by Mitch Albom "the five people you meet in heaven" in like 2 days and literally read more than half of "Marching Powder" today considering I was feeling quite ill and didnt feel like attending class on a bolivian holiday. Marching Powder is really an amazing read and I thank Mary so much for showing me about it as it has many lessons in life that I have come to learn and also has shown me how valuable patience is. Its really weird considering the fact that Ive been here for 3 months and havent talked to anyone but my Mom and Dad. Some say they are going to call me but never do, and Ill recieve texts and respond within minutes but on the other side the others ... read more

My spider kill count is at an all time high. Trying to currently figure out how I am possibly going to blog my weekend because its really difficult to piece it all together. Probably is considered to be the most intense weekend Ive had here. It all started friday when I spread the word to Kevin that we were going to see the BRUJA (witCH) who was supposed to tell our fortunes to us. John was trying to go as well and at like 330pm we met up and Lilliana told us it wasnt happening. BUST I thought and Kevin and I contemplated what to do. JOhn seemed quite disappointed and went home. Considering it was friday and We were supposed to be sleeping outside at Noche sin Techo the day was still young, Kevin was ... read more

John texted me this morning saying he thinks hes sick again and we might have concluded that its the Beruit (brazillian cafe/buffet) but I dont feel sick at all so who knows. WEll tommorow (Sunday) its like Bolivian pollution day so there will be no cars and no Taxis and I really hope the best from Johns Mom who is arriving on this day. Apparently there this pollution day is over at like 6pm but still I wonder how Johns mom is going to get along. WEll Bernedatte is gone, along with Sean and Gina, and some others that I never really conversed with. Some days here are like all blown out crazyness and some days are slow and somewhat lonely. Really intense and in a way Im growing very irritable and impatient. On Bernedattes (sorry ... read more
