Wow, seems like a lot has happened in the past few days!

So, in Sao Paulo, we had a wander to the Havaianas shop, Liz designed her own while Holly picked up a pair for her and Alan. Then, Solange´s friend Nelson picked us up, and took us to the park, then for lunch at his ex wife´s restaurant - amazing food, and he also treated us to some chocolates from there too. Very spoilt indeed! We had a lazy afternoon back at Solange´s, trying to sort out flights for later in the trip, skyping home, and uploading some pictures to facebook. Solange then took us out for a salad in the evening, and we had a nice relax watching TV before an earlyish night.

On Friday, we got up and had a wander down Avenida Paulista, went into a mini art exhibition and for lunch. We then packed up, and headed over to the bus station for our 16 hour bus to Foz do Iguacu. Wasn´t actually too bad, we slept for most of it except for a frustrating couple of hours at about 3 am. We arrived in Foz, found our hostel and heade out with some A,mericans from our room to the Bird Sanctuary. Saw lots of beautiful parrots, toucans - not Liz´s favourite activity but still good none the less. We ate at our hostel last night, very good BBQ where we met Tom, a Soton graduate who has a lot of mutual friends with Holly! A few drinking games with the finest Chilean wine meant a good night´s sleep last night, before an early start this morning for our trip to Argentina. The falls were stunning, we spent most of the day wandering and taking in the views, getting rather soaked at times, but luckily the weather was perfect for drying us off. We have just got back from our first Charrascuria (more meat, served on swords) and are getting rather excited for our potential helicopter trip tomorrow, and the potential for venturing into Paraguay for the afternoon. The plan is to get a bus to Campo Grande then onto Bonito on Tuesday morning, so we will hopefully get this booked tomorrow.

Hopefully you have managed to see some photos on facebook, we will put some more up tomorrow. xxx

Well, wish we had such interesting news for you! Even the bits where you're not being spoilt sound like you are being spoilt! And here's me just doing an out-patients appointment at the ear clinic! Still waiting to see your pics - Kel and Matt not over at weekend , so dad nearly signed up to facebook, but stopped (you'll be relieved to hear Liz) because he didn't want to open his email list and password to all and sundry. Helicopter sounds amazing - did you get to do it? Must get a map out and chart your journey. Safe travelling. xx
