Wow it was wet. Not only was there a lot of water from the falls, we were alos there during a huge rain fall!
Jesuit Missions
In the 1600s these missions were constructed to protect the natives from colonists and to spread Christianity. The ruins are now a place of history and were iteresting to walk through.

One day late, but Happy Birthday to Tim. What a way to celebrate. You guys will remember it the rest of your lives. Did you do anything special (cake, candles, toasts. etc.)?
The pictures were emmensely enjoyable. Iguazu Falls really is fabulous. What a stitch to find the NYC casino in San Luis -- the replicas of the Statue of Liberty, Emprire State and Wriggly (right?) bldgs are a neat touch.
We know you're not much into football, but our Packers are doing very well in the play offs to date. After being down by 14 ponts in the first 2-3 minutes of the game with Seattle, they came back and whopped them decisively. Next weekend they will play the NY Giants and, then (we hope), on to the Superbowl.

great to hear from you...hope Ellen is fully recovered. Sounds like a cool time, and when you return you'll have to teach us how to cook the meat as you described. If you eat at 11PM...what does the rest of the day look like? Up at 12?
