Hola! (wendy here) we are back in the city of Mendoza after 3 days out in the coutry & vineyards @ Cavas Wine Lodge. www.cavaswinelodge.com check out the photos, because i am sure my description will not fully describe the decadence that we experienced here. Just a hint:

1- brought to the hotel by our own personal driver, greeted by name by Cecilia, the owner with a glass of wine and tour of spectacular grounds.
2- Our living space was one of only 12 units on site. Complete with personal dipping pool, al fresco shower (outside- 4 shower heads), rooftop deck with fireplace, living room with fireplace and view of Andes, bedroom with fireplace and view of Andes, claw foot tub and separate stone shower area.
3- Complete service detail by staff, including ironing our clothes (they didn´t have irons to loan), setting a fire in our rooftop fireplace, arranging all on and off site dinner details, arrange for winery tours and horseback riding and massages.

Sorry so short with this entry! Ryan and I both wrote a ton to update you and unfortunately the power went out and we lost it all! ugh! We will regain our composure and rewrite our entry later. Now we are off to the local casino (across the street) to spend some pesos and try our luck at argentine blackjack. Our flight leaves tomorrow AM for Ushuaia.
