My last day in Mendoza (monday) was definately a great time. Got an early start finding my bus and making it to the next town south, Miapu, where all the bodegas "wineries" are located. Guidebook said to get off at the triangle roundabout to find the bike rental place, well if its a triangle how can it be a roundabout, anyways never saw it and ended up walking a couple of k's back. I happened to arrive at the first bodega as a tour was beggining in english, this was actually a private pay tour, but i kinda just walked in behind and followed them around. Had the free sample of wine then took off to the next bodega. The next few were not open so i decided to just bike all the way down the road (about 12k) to the furthest one then head back. Shortly after arriving there met 2 british guys and joined up with them. after our tasing we bought a bottle and drank it there, then off to the next bodega, another tour, some food, another bottle. At this point 4 of the british guys friends showed up and we kept on going. Next place had

a nice terrace we got a few more bottles then off we went. Not done yet though, one more bodega, one more tasting and bottle. Almost time for my bus back to Mendoza so i can catch my bus to Bariloche, but i figured i had a little more time to go to the distillery where we all shared a bottle of absinthe. Phew, two shots of that and i had t get going or i was gonna be in serious trouble. The original 2 brits I met are arriving in Baroliche tonight, I'll have to find out how their day and evening finished. I know by the time i made it to my bus i was glad i had 17 hours cause i needed some water and some sleep.

Got here to Bariloche tuesday afternoon, bus ride was good, got alot of sleep thanks to the sleeping pills. spent tuesday just wandering around the city. Its alot lake tahoe or queenstown. On a large lake, surrounded by mountians, skiing in the winter, very outdoorsy. The hostel has dinner every night for the guests, met alex from kansas there last night, played some pool, then 2 argentines joined us.
