sooo angeles told me that her family, at the parilla on sunday, thought i was from Britain or Ireland and I actually get that a lot from Argentines here. Gustavo told me it's because I have confidence when I speak, I dress very well, and I seem to be very cultured and educated, needless to say it made my ego thissssss big haha.
I'm bouncing yet again, this time to Córdoba and the central Sierra mountain range for some hiking, parasailing, and horseback riding and rock climbing. say what, who would have thought that Liam would leave the big city and deal with nature. Molly and I are leaving Wed, Lissy, Emily, and Michelle are coming Thursday and Edson is coming Friday, so it's bound to be a fun time. I'm really glad Molly is down to travel, and she's from so close to Newport! I finallyyy have a friend there which is great.
People from home are always asking me how classes are going and I never know what to say because I feel like I'm not in any! Honestly, one class all we do is listen to opera and go to the actual opera (which was beautiful btw, we saw barbaro de seville in an old antiquated opera house), another we read 3 page short stories and analyze them for 2 hours/the profesora talks about the hometown of the author and his/her upbringing. The other one is all foreigners and the guy just talks about really random stuff about Latino Americana. And the last one, the UBA one, we haven't had for the past 2 weeks and the one class I did make it to they talked about Roland Barthes and we watched Blade Runner...like que?
piece of advice that the swiss german guy who slept in black briefs told me - walk everywhere, even if you don't know where you're going, it's the only way to truly learn a city and observe it's people
ciao, currently listening to bongo bong - manu chao and currently missing court and nikki
