Having had one massive fuck about finding a hostel (the one we were booked in fucked us over...) we have now been enjoying the delights of buenos aires. To summarise so far it has gone like this:

12PM - I wake up, and go for a wander
4PM - Sanjay wakes up, wonders where I am
7PM - I return, meet up with sanjay and we eat
11PM - go out, get taxis all over the city and drink / feel bemused at the fact no where gets busy until about 2AM

Inbetween this there has been much hanging about with Brazillians. A couple of guys who gave us instructions on where to go in Brazil on the following criteria:

- number of girls (pronounced gerlez)
- number of homosexuals (pronounced poof-es). Although this was not in a homophobic way, just a way to quantify the availability of gerlez
- nice beaches

Also they invited us to stay in San Paulo with them, which could be good fun. More Brazillians appeared on Sunday so yesterday while the little Indian slept I headed out to la boca (home of boca juniors football team) to shop for tat. tat, it appears, is tat all over the world. Was also informed that one of the girls likes me because I remind her of Mick Jagger. Rock and Roll, it seems. Oh, and she is so beautiful it makes me cry just a little bit.

To end on an amusing note, Sanjay managed to insult about 10 Brazillian girls we met late one night in the square near our hostel. One of them said "we know what you english think of brazillians... we are all hot". to which sanjay replied "Yes! you are hot, you are hot, you are hot (pointing around)". This envoked a strange reaction, by which half of them stormed off looking offended. It turned out Sanjay had mistaken the word ´whores´for hot and thus continued to point to each girl and call them a whore. Nice.

I need to take some pictures.

How many gerlez have to be at a certain destination to make it a desirable place to go? I mean, are we talking 10, 20, 10,000?! How specific where these Brazilians. You should tell them that there are plenty of hot gerlez to be found in Leeds.... Glad to hear you're having fun, looking forward to some pictures and more blogs. x x x x x
