Puerto Madero y Día de la Independencia

Today I decided to go shopping in the streets of Avenida Santa Fe and Corrientes. I got me some nice clothes and after class we decided to go and play some indoor soccer with people from our uni. I must admit the place was awesome it was literally under a bridge and very street football like.

After that I meant this Chinese guy who spoke pretty fluent Spanish and told me why he was here (in Buenos Aires) trying to make ends meet, and basically was kind enough to teach and give me some advice about the local customs and just basically some street smart info I needed to rumble it out in the ever crazy city of BA.

Originally, I was going to meet some Brazilian people and some Americans from our uni, but as it turned out I got there a bit later than I thought and my phone still wasn't properly ready(they had already left)….

So I went back home and just in time, the people I was staying with were also ready to go out that night and instead I ended going to Banana Pizza a cool club near Puerto Madero, which overall was cool….

Today was meant to be independence day for all local Argentinians. To explain it a bit better everyone is out (as normal in South America) But the thing is, becuase it was a public holiday, I decided it was fun to walk to Puerto Madero and see some lovely ports and boats and then later take a hike in the eco reserve forest…..I didn’t realize that today no form of transportation existed….So having been a bit too keen and too wild by walking 5 hours around…YEAH, you guessed it that was exactly how long it took to get back home….Lucky for me I got home literally at night time and for all my friends in the apartment they kind of waited for me to get back before deciding to do something, which I thought was kind of cool…so that night we went to a local cinema and watched Hancock(in English , with Spanish subs).

I did basically nothing but recover and after class, I decided to take a sub to the city and got me an Argentina soccer jersey and was just hanging around there for a while.
