CathedralCool cathedral... but I couldnt take pictures inside.
Untitled Well I´ve been here for about 6 or 7 hours now... so far its good. Missing the family a bit less but we´ll see how long that lasts. I´ve been staying pretty close to the hostel, within 10-20 blocks. I don´t want to get lost... So far the people seem pretty friendly and the city seems really European... not that I´ve ever been to Europe but from what I´ve seen on TV it is similar. Alot of the people speak at least some English so it´s easier to get by, I´m trying to work on my Spanish though. The people really don´t look like you would think a South American person would look like, because they are mostly all immigrants. I´ve gotten mistaked for a local a few times already.
I´m not sure how long I´m going to stay in Buenos Aires before I go to Uruguay, it´s a huge city with great architecture and lot´s of interesting things to see, however I don´t want to spend alot of time in cities... I can do that at home.
This computer at the hostel is old and crappy so I cannot upload my pictures I´ve taken so far,
maybe tommorow I´ll find a place. There was a big protest type of thing today, I heard drums so I walked over and saw about 2 thousand people walking down the street with big signs. I¨m not sure what they were doing, but today is the 25th anniversary of the Maldives war.
Well whoever is reading this please email me, I like having words from home.
Love you all
Chao

great pics, you are right, not the building designs I would have thought there would be there
Yup,
We never think about Latin America as being so advanced or so old! The oldest university in the Americas is there. Canada is very new by comparison. Culturally rich place. Enjoy!!!
