Map out time to celebrate christmas! But where... we must make our way away from the Kiwis doing the harka in the middle of the road in down town Buenos Aires, Bloody kiwis can´t take em anywhere!
Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope is was a good one.
It aure is different being away from family and friends a christmas, I think it loses a bit of it sentiment especially when you are hanging around with guys from Israel and Egypt... What are the chances.
I did get a little confused over here as to when christmas is.. they have big family dinner here on the 24th then it is party time at 3am. And the 25 th is just sleep and nothing...
So on the 24th I did a good tourist walk of the city, was great to explore as there was no one around. Then at the ´pink house´ where evita gave the famous speech walked along the worlds biggest avenue. Then back at the hostel me two aussie brothers who were playing sevens and drinking beer so what a good way to end the day i thought.
Midnight came and it was firewirks galore, we tried to find the stairs up the roof to see the full view but were unsuccesful, and then the snotty kids next door started throwing fire works over in to our courtyard... no really the christmas spirit i´d
day.
The real christmas day we had a ´christmas lunch´at the hostel which was cold potato salad haha so us aussies and my new mexican room mate decided to create a little papa noel pub excursion... then ended up having a great christmas dinner of Argentinian steak and red wine!
Merry Christmas!Fun being a tourist snuck in to cafe and took silly pic, good to not understand spanish sometimes!
