Saturday, September 10, 2005 Weather: Clear and sunny. Temperature: Mid 80's. The temperature reported above may be misleading. At 12,000' on a sunny day temperatures in the mid 80's can feel really hot. We brought along sun screen with SPF of 44 but mostly forgot to use it. We are a retired American couple in our early 70's who enjoy traveling the world and seeing new and exciting cultures. We have visited all 7 continents and about 75 countries. We live in Maryland during the summer and Florida (snowbirds!) during the winter. Unfortunately, due to a heart attack on Christmas morning of 2007 our desires to be locked into a long aluminum tube for hours on end has waned.
