Left Brisbane by 4by4 and headed into desert with five other people, Jess, Ian, Anthony, Anika, Caroline. Quite a few Kilometres to travel to Birdsville to watch the races. 1602km to be exact. Took us three days of driving but stopped to stock up on alcohol and buy a sleeping bag cause obviously would be needing one it dropped in temp in the desert quite rapidly.
