We were in Arequipa three days, with a two day tour of the Colca Canyon somewhere in the middle, for a total of five days in the very south of Peru. The Colca had some amazing vistas of terraced hillsides from pre-Inca times, though the tour reminded me too much of the good ol' Holland America cattle drives. Rob was overcoming his sore throat and made the trek, while Maz stayed behind in Arequipa ... read more
