A lot of people would ask why someone would want to strap a 40lbs pack to your back and go walk 12-20km a day in the hot sun, rain, mud, bugs, etc. I found myself asking that question more than once while I was out trekking around, but then I would walk around a corner, come to the top of a hill, or come out of the trees to see the amazing wild beauty of the real New Zealand and my ... read more
