Brahma Temple
Brahma wanted to perform a yagna (self mortification) at the lake, and when his wife sSavitri didn't attend, he married another woman. Savitri, upset, vowed that Brahma wound not be worshipped anywhere else. This is the most famous temple in Pushkar and one of the few such temples anywhere in the world.

We grabbed a morning bus from Jaipur to the small, very religious lake town of Pushkar. Unfortunately, the bus was not one which I could ride on the roof so I made do with reading the local newspaper and chatting with two Isreali girls.
