Today we took a long-tail boat over to Koh Tao for the afternoon to do some shopping. The village of Mae Haad is very small and rustic but has an abundance of shops, restaurants, massage parlors, internet cafes, and dive shops. J was overdue for another haircut at this point in the trip so we stopped into a local beauty shop. The lady there didn't speak much English, but did a very nice job on ... read more

In 2008, 2009 and 2010, we travelled mostly in the Caribbean, US, Canada and Hawaii. We were just too busy to post travelblogs, and Facebook has been easier to post pictures to, although not as good as this site. Hopefully we'll get back to posting our world travels to this site!
