In 1991 a slab of rock about 18 m (60 ft) long, 3.3 m (11 ft) wide, and 1.2 m (4 ft) thick fell from the underside of Landscape Arch. Luckily it didn't flaten anybody, but they've fenced off the area since then, just in case! ********* En 1991 se desprendió, de la parte inferior derecha del arco, un pedrusco que medía 18 metros de largo, 3,3 de ancho y 1,2 de grosor. ¡Por suerte no pilló a nadie debajo! Pero desde entonces han vallado el área por si acaso

With no strange buses to board nor people to fight with, our travels through North America in our hire car were blissfully uneventful. We did lots of driving and enjoyed the incredible views enormously, but didn't fit in any heavy walking as it was so hot we could've fried an egg on the car's bonnet.
