We were up early this morning for the trip to Tikal. Met at Max's place around 7:15 am - there was coffee and apple sweet cakes waiting. So fantastic. Seven of us (4 from LA, 3 from London) set out for Guatemala. Uneventful border crossing. Eventually go to the ruins where we met our guide, Mario. The ruins were amazing. We saw spider monkeys and all sort of insects. Climbed the pyramid an ... read more
