I'm catching up for the past four months of not posting anything, so back we go to September/October, when I was still with my first host family (and when the weather was gloriously warm...)! From 2006-2007, I studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Normal University as part of an exchange program through my school. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take a number of trips both within China and throughout Southeast Asia.
