Rainer is a friend of Kati and wanted me to let everyone know about sport in Estonia. The favourite sports here are basketball (not surprising considering how tall a lot of people are here) and football/soccer. It's well known here that Erki Nool won the decathalon gold medal at the Sydney Olympics (http://www.vm.ee/estonia/kat_173/3923.html) and Estonians also compete well in sailing, cross-country ski races, rowing, strong-man competitions, Sumo wrestling (no joke, I've seen it myself on TV)and many other sports.
