This morning we wanted to discover the town of Hameln of Pied Piper fame. No that’s not a typo – they leave off the ‘i’ in German. Hameln has some beautiful examples of old style ½ timber houses – stone foundations with timber frames and rendered brick infill panels. Been There Licked That

In one courageous or completely out of our minds crazy leap my husband, our daughter and I have left our current place of residence, packed up our current lives and decided to take off to Europe for three and a half months. We have no set plans beyond a return ticket in and out of Paris, the first 8 days accommodation and a car lease for the remaining 90 something days.
