12-14 March Days 8-10 Machherma(4470m) to Gokyo(4790m) via Gokyo Ri(5360m) to Dragnag(4700m) We set out from Machhermo after less than an inch of snow from the night before. Had been 4.5 years since landing back on aussie soil after our 6 months of travel around europe in a kombi. Gokyo Ri - superb
Spot on! The views from Gokyo Ri were absolutely amazing. We have been told, you get a much better perspective of the Himalayas from this vantage point as opposed to Kala Patthar, near Everest Base Camp. So we are happy we decided to head over this way at the start of our trek.
