LOS ALUMBRADOS December 18th 2006 Los Alumbrados...the Christmas lights decorating the Colombian cities, every single house, building and street corner....it is an entire industry and an entire obsession related to los Alumbrados in Colombia. This blog is an account of my travels, my experiences abroad, starting with Turkey in 2004, straight after graduating from university, my teaching internship in Colombia for a whole year and my 2 years spent in London which gave me the amazing opportunity to travel to Belgium, France and Spain.
