On Saturday, we got up early and got the bus from Whitianga to Rotorua, via Thames, with a cheeky stop by a giant L&P Bottle - L&P is a NZ drink that tastes a lot like lemonade, but seems to be pretty dear to Kiwi hearts...so we tried a small one to be polite! We are taking a year to travel around Southeast Asia. We fly out to Australia on the 17th Dec and will spend Christmas and New Year staying with family in Sydney. We are then going to fly to Auckland and spend a couple of months in New Zealand before returning to a round tour of Australia for another couple of months. By May time we should be back in Sydney and will then plan the rest of the tour of countries including Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam...
