Chiang Mai: Exploring Temples and Bringing in a New Year

From Kanchanaburi we took a short 3 hour bus to the Northern Bangkok bus station where we caught an overnight bus to Chiang Mai. It wasn't a sleeper bus with beds but they provided blankets and the chairs reclined enough to get some sleep.
