Jose Marti, Cuba's Favorite National Hero

The white marble statue of Jose Marti is on the Plaza of the Revolution. This is the location where Fidel gave many of his famous speeches (some up to 6 hours long.) It is also where Pope John Paul and Pope Paul Benedict spoke to the people.
