Kinabatangan River

The river was peaceful, though in flood and full of branches, flotsam and mud. Most of the wildlife I saw in the rainforest was spotted while in the boat and I loved my trips up and down the river.

This was an amazing vacation and I loved every minute of it – even when there were leeches involved.
