Black slug
Apparently, the black slugs are native to Germany, and are losing out to the foreign brown slugs, since the crows haven't developed a taste for the brown ones.

We follow the Elbe-Müritz trailfrom Lenzen to Parchim and then from Parchim to Plau am See as much as possible, cutting out loops when the route wasn't found or to save time.
