October 2008 What can I say about the Eternal City that we saw in only one short day? Well, let's see. Rome was another stop on our Princess Cruise Line Mediterranean cruise. It was a two hour trip by bus from the port to Rome. On our drive we learned that Italians drive smaller cars than Americans, and everyone hangs their laundry on clotheslines off their balconies.
