I left Tecopa this morning heading east. Thanks to its location, the fastest route goes back to Parhump. The road out follows the base of the mountain ridge above town. It passes a few more abandoned housing developments like the one I saw yesterday. Afterwards, it enters more empty desert, following ravines through mountains covered in scrub and exposed rocks.
