So I arrived in Cusco which has an elevation of around 3,400m, then bus had arrived at the terminal earlier than expected so I knew I would have to do a bit of hanging around. I then took a taxi to my hostel which was called the Wild Rover, luckily I was able to check in early so I dumped my bag in the room and went exploring as the others in the dorm were sleeping.
