Ground Zero becomes the 911 Memorial July 24th 2012 Although tickets to visit the National September 11 Memorial are free they have to be pre-booked at 911memorial.org. While construction continues on the surrounding World Trade Centre buildings the memorial operates in an interim way. Once the WTC is fully rebuilt there will be open acces to the memorial from all sides.

We started travelblogging in 2008 when, with the parenting responsibilities of six children long-gone, we (Michelle & Kevin) left home for a three months adventure during which time we spent some of the kids inheritance!
