We arrived in La Paz, a bustling and hectic city, yet quite a site, set in a valley surrounded by contrasting desert and snow caps. I am heading off to South America for 3 months on what will hopefully a great adventure with minimal complications. I figured that writing a blog would be the best way for all of my family and friends to travel with me, and see that I am still alive and haven't been kidnapped or shot with poison darts.
