After spending a quick (8)hrs in Bangkok we caught a (3)hr flight to Kathmandu. The weather was beautiful & warm, but not clear enough to see Everest on the descent. We spent our first (2) nights in Kathmandu at the Yak & Yeti Hotel. Nepal is strongly influenced by India, from the food, Hindu religion, Bollywood tv shows, Indian tour companies, to the beautifully colored Saris worn by the wom ... read more
