Yum Cha, or Dim Sum as we call it in the US, is translated as "morning tea." I asked one of my students to explain the difference between the terms, since I know they're both Cantonese and thus from this region of the country. He explained that it depends on the town the person is from as to which term they use. (Most of my students and friends call it yum cha.) Also, ... read more
