Contingency plans were made at breakfast today and resulted in Dan heading for the nearby mountains to trek for several hours and me to the fascinating local area to walk and browse as I pleased, around the old city. Having covertly made lunchtime breadrolls from the hotel buffet, we packed our bags with goodies, water and sunscreen. Dan left me in charge of procuring the train tickets for our nex ... read more
