Today we set off by train to travel from Innsbruck to Lucerne. Fortified by a yummy hotel breakfast we stocked up on herb tea and macarons from McDonalds to make sure we didn't starve on the train. Arriving in Lucerne mid afternoon, I was delighted to find my room was situated right next door to a medieval (and functioning) bell tower.
