The views from the plane were fabulous on the flight from Bogota (via Lima) to Cusco. The mountains seemed to go on forever and scattered clouds sat just above them. As soon as the cabin depressurised we could feel the altitude (3300m), our hearts were racing. Signs at the entrance to the terminal warned against overexertion but to get from tarmac to baggage claim we had to climb two flights of st ... read more
