We wanted for years to see the Tenement Museum on the Lower East Side, and today was the day. It’s a block or two from the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge, Delancey Street, and the Bowery. Entry is by guided tour only. We bought our tickets in advance for two tours, and were glad we did because they all sold out. The museum is an actual five-story apartment building at 97 Orchard St ... read more
