This is the site of a penguin reserve, but they where out to sea fishing. We did see these wonderful waves to compensate

On a cloudy and overcast day we left Dunedin and drove up to the Otago Peninsular to see the Royal Albatross Colony, sadly there were none flying today, and I didn't blame them we did see lots of spotted shags. We then headed North up the coast stopping at the amazing Moeraki boulders, detouring up the Waitaki river plateau until we reached Timaru. Spent our last day in New Zealand chilling ... read more
