Met 8 anderen heb ik een weekend lang DC onveilig gemaakt. Ikzelf en drie andere vertrokken donderdagnacht al met de bus en kwamen vrijdagochtend rond 8u aan in Washington. De rest zou later met de auto van één van hen komen. Een goeie keuze van onze kant, want ze waren er uiteindelijk pas om 8u ’s avonds. Een hele dag extra voor ons dus.
