Hopefully Not the Last View of Our Nifty German Licence

We have taken every measure we can think of to ensure that our temporary German plates are with our car when it reaches America, but I've read of many Bimmerfest members losing theirs in transit. We told the shipping agent not to save the plates, notified our dealer on this end and even had signs made up and placed in the trunk and cockpit begging the shippers not to toss them. One will stay on the front and the other will go in the Mancave.

You would think that after going 36 hours without sleep, except for a half hour snooze during Shakespeare on the plane, that I would've had a long night's rest once I climbed into bed.
