The first train we could get out of Hua Hin was the expensive "Express Train" which takes tourists from Bangkok all the way to the South and their ferries to the islands. We only went an hour but it still cost 323 Baht each (£7) which we thought was outrageous! It's very popular and standing is not allowed so we were actually lucky to get two tickets.
