Once we arrived at the train stop in Nong Khai we were met by a tuk tuk driver who took us to the border to get our departure stamp on our visas. Instead of taking us directly to the border, he first attempted to sell us visas at a travel agency at which point everyone on the tuk tuk insisted he take us to the border.
