We caught the 6pm train from Varanassi to Khajuraho which was meant to take around 11 hours. Again we booked AC3 class. We got on the train and found it was pretty empty so we had the compartment all to ourselves. True to Indian trains we arrived 2 hours late so 7.30am which gave us little longer in bed.
