Recreational boats on the Rhine are rare - probably because of the swift current. Recreational vehicles are in profusion - one woman erroneously told us these were Gypsy encampments - another guide said that most RVers are the frugal Dutch who bring in their own beer and bread and spend not a Euro! Fun to catch up on the gossip!
