In July Karen and I along with our friends Carl and Bird visited Campobello International Park in New Brunswick Canada. This was the summer home of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s family. It’s a very lovely setting and must have been a peaceful retreat for him growing up and the place where he first experienced polio.
